Total Integrated Fit (TIF) for Atraumatic Entry During Femoral Intervention
Hemostatic Control – Designed for Safety During Femoral Intervention
Structural Integrity and Visualization During Femoral Intervention
Vascular access is a critical step in interventional medicine, with the common femoral artery serving as a primary site for a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Achieving and maintaining stable access requires instrumentation that balances atraumatic vessel entry with structural integrity.
The Radifocus™ Introducer II Standard Kit is a specialized femoral introducer sheath available in several standardized configurations to facilitate femoral intervention procedures. Designed to provide a secure conduit through the subcutaneous tissue and vessel wall, it supports the exchange of catheters and wires essential for a successful femoral intervention.
Total Integrated Fit (TIF) for Atraumatic Entry During Femoral Intervention
- Design with Total Integrated Fit (TIF) technology
- Features a tapering of the dilator and the sheath tip
- Intended to facilitate a smooth penetration1,2
Hemostatic Control – Designed for Safety During Femoral Intervention
Each femoral introducer sheath is equipped with a cross-cut hemostasis valve designed to :
- Manage procedural blood loss3,4
- Prevent the risk of air embolism3,4
- Maintain a seal during the introduction, manipulation, and withdrawal of interventional devices.3,4
Structural Integrity and Visualization During Femoral Intervention
- Anti-Kinking Sleeve:
Thin radiopaque sheath with anti-kinking sleeve5 for easy catheter handling6
- Radiopacity:
Sheath material is designed for visibility under fluoroscopy
Allows to monitor the position of the sheath tip throughout the procedure
- Snap-on/click-off dilator lock:
Locks the dilator to the sheath
Prevents axial displacement during the insertion process7,8
Allows one-hand unlocking9
Numerical and Colour-Coded Size Identification
- Sheath Size Indicator:
Sheath size is numerically marked on the hub for clear identification.
- Color-Coded Hubs:
Hubs are color-coded to support quick and easy size determination.
