Our Surflo^™ Winged Infusion Sets (= Scalp Vein or SV set) are intended to introduce fluids into the vascular system after venipuncture (single-dose or short-term intravenous administration). They incorporate the best of Terumo's needle technology allowing smooth skin penetration.

To ensure stability and grip during venipuncture, the Surflo^™ Winged Infusion Sets are equipped with color-coded (ISO), interlocking wings. Thanks to the slightly angled wings (<3° in relation to the cannula), less pressure is put on the blood vessel when puncturing. To encourage a consistent flow, the material of the tubing is flexible and free of kinking.

Designed with safety in mind, Terumo’s Surflo™ Winged Infusion Sets are crafted using DEHP‑free materials and are completely free of natural rubber latex.
