The Roadsaver™ Carotid Artery Stent features a dual-layer design with micromesh technology engineered to deliver sustained embolic protection during and after carotid artery stenting.
Built on a braided nitinol stent platform, the Roadsaver™ Carotid Artery Stent combines the flexibility of an open-cell stent with the high resistance to particle penetration found in a closed-cell stent.2
Small Pores, Big Impact
The Roadsaver™ Carotid Artery Stent was designed to deliver lasting embolic protection through innovative dual-layer micromesh technology1:
- The innovative dual layer micromesh is designed to secure plaque against the vessel wall, thus minimizing protrusion and reducing the risk of distal embolization.
- Pore sizes as small as 375 to 700 µm –up to four times smaller than the average carotid artery stent and among the smallest available – for sustained embolic protection.
Closed Cells, High Flexibility
The braided nitinol stent platform enables a design that mimics the structure of a closed-cell stent while still offering the flexibility of an open-cell stent².

Low Profile, High Crossability
The Roadsaver™ Carotid Artery Stent, with its low 5 Fr profile, allows you to feel confident while reaching and crossing lesions:
- Features a rapid exchange system for all stent sizes
- Allows for easy and safe stent delivery in complex anatomies4,5
- Supports primary carotid artery stenting when predilatation is not required2,5,6
Ease of Operation with the Advanced Delivery Catheter
The advanced delivery catheter is designed for ease of use and allows you to reposition the carotid artery stent if needed:
- Flexible distal delivery catheter tip for enhanced trackability in challenging anatomies1
- Pin and pull delivery system designed for ease of use by a single operator
- Fully repositionable - if necessary, the stent can be retrieved and repositioned up to 50% deployment7.
