Application and inflation​

​Withdraw the introducer sheath by 2 to 3 cm.

• Ensure the puncture site is clean & dry.

Place the compression balloon against the skin then place belt #1 with the hand icons between the index finger and the thumb.​

• Align the green marker on the compression balloon with the vascular puncture site.​
• The same approach applies to both the left and right hand.

Wrap the two other belts around the hand, and keep them ​secure with the adjustable fastener.​

Pass belt #1 through the thumb and the index finger.​ Keep the air injection port on the side.​​

Secure belt #1 tightly with the adjustable fastener.​

Inject up to 14 ml of air from the inflator via the air injection port.​

​Withdraw the introducer sheath and adjust the air volume in case of bleeding​. Keep the puncture site dry, using gauze to absorb any oozing or bleeding​

Deflation & Removal​

Deflate TR Band™ completely after 2 hours.​

• Removal protocols should be consistent with needs of the provider(s) and patient.​
• Air injection volume and compression time may differ according to the patient’s condition, heparin volume, and the size of the puncture site.​
• Check the puncture site frequently and adjust accordingly. If bleeding occurs, inject more air to restore hemostasis and repeat deflation after 30 minutes.​

​Remove TR Band™ Distal and apply sterile dressing over the puncture site.​
