In this study, single-catheter strategy using Tiger II significantly reduced the contrast media volume used for diagnostic procedures, compared to traditional two-catheter strategy. Limited exposure to contrast lowers the risk of contrast induced nephropathy³, which is associated with long hospital stay, marked increase in morbidity and mortality.
