Reliable Radial Access
Glidesheath Slender™ Introducer Sheath with Thin-Wall Technology for Radial Access
2
neutrals-100

The Glidesheath Slender™ Introducer Sheath allows you to offer the radial access option to more patients.

Utilising thin-wall technology, this radial introducer enables a reduced outer diameter while maintaining a consistent inner lumen, designed to  minimise arterial trauma and facilitate sheath insertion1,2 ,3. Available in multiple French sizes, it supports a broad spectrum of percutaneous procedures to meet your daily needs.

Thin-Wall, Larger Lumen – More Options for Your Patients

With its thin-wall technology, the Glidesheath Slender™ Introducer Sheath enables a 1 Fr reduction in outer diameter compared to standard introducer sheaths, while maintaining inner lumen size.

  • Designed to minimise trauma to the radial artery and proven to have a lower penetration resistance than conventional radial introducers1,2,3
  • Allows both diagnostic and interventional procedures without the need to upsize to a larger introducer sheath
  • Facilitates radial access in patients with smaller radial artery diameters¹,
  • Smaller outer diameter reduces arteriotomy size, allowing for efficient post-procedure hemostasis

Mcoat™ Hydrophilic Coating: The Key to Easy Insertion and Removal of Glidesheath Slender™

Mcoat™ is Terumo’s proprietary hydrophilic coating technology designed for a consistently smooth and lubricious surface on the introducer sheath.

  • Facilitates insertion and removal of the introducer sheath5
  • Significantly reduces penetration resistance compared to conventional introducer sheaths1,6
  • Minimizes friction between the vessel wall and radial introducer7
  • Used in best-practice transradial protocols associated with lower rates of adverse events, including radial artery occlusion8–11
  • Glidesheath Slender™ Introducer Sheath offers superior and durable lubricity performance over time12-14
