Angiographic catheter

Description

An angiographic or diagnostic catheter is intended for use in angiographic procedures. It delivers radiopaque media and therapeutic agents to selected sites in the vascular system. It is also used to lead a guidewire or a catheter into the target site.

Radifocus Optitorque, a full line of angiographic catheters designed for easy manipulation.

Characteristics

  • Catheter shaft characteristics 

    • The double-braided stainless steel mesh technology designed for 1:1 torque control and back up support for both right and left coronary artery engagement

    • The thin wall technology creates a large lumen to enable a high flow rate of contrast media

    • Non-braided tip shaft designed for distal flexibility

    • Soft round tip designed to reduce potential vessel trauma

  • ​​Full range of shapes designed for coaxial engagement

    • A complete portfolio for cardiology procedures, including universal radial shapes, enabling angiography of right and left coronary arteries using either a radial or brachial approach. This single catheter concept decreases procedure and fluoroscopy times, providing both procedural and cost-efficiency1,2,3
