New configuration added to the Strack family of modular pump systems As the result of Terumo Europe's continuous effort to develop state of the art infusion devices for the intensive care unit, a new type of modular system “Strack Intense” has been launched to complete the existing range of Strack modular solutions. The Strack Intense gives an ICU ward the flexibility of stacking and racking different types of TERUMO syringe pumps into one integrated system. Additionally, the system features a central data connection to link all infusion related data with a local software application or with the central PDMS of the hospital. |

Take a look at our safety range Terumo has developed a line of Surshield safety products for your protection, including safety winged infusion sets and safety IV catheters. These products guarantee permanent protection against needle stick injuries immediately after use. In recent years, the protection of healthcare workers against needlestick injuries has been a much debated subject, which led to legislative actions in the US, and to the creation of several European directives on safety at the workplace. In order to meet the safety need in the healthcare sector, Terumo has developed a line of Surshield safety products: needles, infusion sets, catheters and blood collection products that are equipped with a protective system that guarantees immediate and permanent protection after use. Features and benefits: As for all Terumo products the safety products have high quality standards and have passed careful screening and testing. We guarantee user-friendliness, by maintaining the same puncture technique as the regular Hospital Systems. |
